Respite Care

Daily and Hourly Respite services provide relief to caregivers from the everyday stress of caring for an individual who experiences a disability. Agency respite care staff are trained in first aide, CPR, developmental disabilities, health care and information specific to the consumer's needs. In addition, Daily Respite providers are also State licensed for overnight care in their homes.

As the primary caregiver, it is important to have "peace of mind" when it comes to finding quality care for your loved one. You desire flexible scheduling and friendly, dependable services. At MARC this is what you will find.

At MARC, we cover the cost of snacks, activity fees, and project supplies.

Hourly Respite services are provided at the Center, 7 days/week with drop-ins generally available.

Day Habilitation

Day Habilitation provides you with the opportunity to be supported in your pursuit of independence, community inclusion, recreation, peer relationships, and new endeavors. This service assists with acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills that take place in a non-residential setting, separate from the home or facility in which the recipient resides. This service may also include pre-vocational training, or subsistence activities. Generally, Day Habilitation services are provided on a regularly scheduled basis for several hours each day during 1 or more days each week.

Day Habilitation service is individually designed and delivered according to your plan of care. You decide what is necessary to reach personal goals.
