We offer the following Medicaid Waiver Services:


Care Coordination

Once a child or an adult has been selected to receive Medicaid waiver services, the Mat-Su Activity & Respite Center provides Care Coordination services to assist the individual and their family navigate the process of accessing services through the Waiver within their community of choice. Care Coordination services are designed to enhance an individual's independence, safety, and comfort by assisting them in identifying, accessing, and coordinating the services they need.

Care Coordination includes:

  • Developing a written plan of care that details the types and amount of support to be provided during the year
  • Coordinating formal and informal sources of support
  • Monitoring services to assure quality services
  • Conducting case reviews to assess progress
  • Crisis intervention
  • Advocacy
  • Family support and problem solving
  • Assisting individuals gain access to other services, opportunities, and resources as needed to assist them in achieving their personal goals

In-Home Support

For the family whose child has medical/developmental extraordinary support needs. Share in the care of your child with the assistance from a qualified and licensed shared care provider.


Shared Care


Supported Living

We offer to you the supports and assistance necessary to live in your own home.


Family Habilitation

For adults needing 24 hr care in a licensed assisted living home.


Respite Care Respite Care

Daily and Hourly Respite services provide relief to caregivers from the everyday stress of caring for an individual who experiences a disability. Agency respite care staff are trained in first aide, CPR, developmental disabilities, health care and information specific to the consumer's needs.

As the primary caregiver, it is important to have "peace of mind" when it comes to finding quality care for your loved one. You desire flexible scheduling and friendly, dependable services. At MARC this is what you will find.

Supported Employment

For individuals who need long-term, on-going support in order to become employed and be successful in continued employment.


Day HabilitationDay Habilitation

Day Habilitation provides you with the opportunity to be supported in your pursuit of independence, community inclusion, recreation, peer relationships, and new endeavors. This service assists with acquisition, retention, or improvement in self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills that take place in a non-residential setting, separate from the home or facility in which the recipient resides. This service may also include pre-vocational training, or subsistence activities. Generally, Day Habilitation services are provided on a regularly scheduled basis for several hours each day during 1 or more days each week.

At MARC, we cover the cost of snacks, activity fees, and project supplies.

Day Habilitation service is individually designed and delivered according to your plan of care. You decide what is necessary to reach personal goals.

We can help make your home safer and more accessible by providing qualified remodel and repair work that meets ADA requirements.
